How to Activate, Pause, or Cancel a Scheduled Order

Introduction

This article explains how participants can manage their scheduled orders in the MyConsumables web app by activating, pausing, or cancelling them. These options help you control when recurring orders run or stop.

Before you start

  • Logged in as a Participant

  • At least one scheduled order created

  • Must have a stable Internet connection

How to Manage a Scheduled Order

  1. Log in to the MyConsumables web app as a Participant.

  2. Navigate to Orders > Scheduled Orders.

  3. Locate the scheduled order you want to manage.

  4. Click on the scheduled orders Vertical three dots (⋮)

     

Activate a Scheduled Order

Use this option if your scheduled order is currently paused and you want it to resume.

  1. Select the scheduled order.

  2. Click Activate.

  3. Confirm the action.

  4. The scheduled order will resume based on its next scheduled date.

Pause a Scheduled Order

Pausing a scheduled order temporarily stops future orders from being generated.

  1. Select the scheduled order.

  2. Click Pause.

  3. Confirm the action.

  4. The scheduled order status will change to Paused.

Important notes:

  • Changing your primary supplier will automatically pause all scheduled orders.

  • Paused scheduled orders will not generate new orders until reactivated.

Cancel a Scheduled Order

Cancelling a scheduled order permanently stops all future orders.

  1. Select the scheduled order.

  2. Click Cancel.

  3. Confirm the cancellation.

Important notes:

  • Cancelled scheduled orders can be reactivated.

  • Any orders already created before cancellation will not be affected.

Tips / Best Practices

  • Pause a scheduled order if you plan to resume it later.

  • Review scheduled orders regularly to ensure they still match your needs.

Troubleshooting / Common Issues

  • Scheduled order not running: Check if the status is Paused or Cancelled.

  • Cannot activate scheduled order: Ensure the primary supplier is active and products are available.

  • Unexpected pause: Verify if the primary supplier was recently changed.
