How to Create a Scheduled Order

Introduction

This article explains how participants can create a scheduled order in the MyConsumables web app. Scheduled orders allow you to automatically place recurring orders for consumables at a set frequency.

Before you start

  • Logged in as a Participant

  • Primary supplier selected

  • At least one product available

  • Must have a reliable Internet connection

Ways to Create a Scheduled Order

Participants can create a scheduled order in two ways.

Option 1: Create a Scheduled Order after Adding to Cart

  1. Log in to the MyConsumables web app.

  2. Add products to your cart.

  3. When pop-up modal appears after adding to cart, select Scheduled Order.

  4. Add more products if needed.

  5. Once satisfied, click Scheduled Order.

  6. Fill in all mandatory details, including:

    • Frequency

    • Mode of Delivery (if applicable)
    • Mode of payment

  7. Update the delivery address if required.

  8. Save the scheduled order.

Option 2: Create a Scheduled Order After Placing an Order

  1. Log in to the MyConsumables web app.

  2. Place an order as usual.

  3. At the end of the order process, click the Scheduled Order button.

  4. Review the products from the order.

  5. Fill in all mandatory details, including:

    • Frequency

    • Mode of Delivery (if applicable)
    • Mode of payment

  6. Update the delivery address if needed.

  7. Save the scheduled order.

What Happens After Creating a Scheduled Order

  • The scheduled order will appear under Scheduled Orders.

  • Orders will be generated automatically based on the selected schedule.

  • Generated orders follow the normal order lifecycle.

Important Notes

  • Participants may ask their Provider or Coordinator to create scheduled orders on their behalf.

  • Changing your primary supplier will automatically change the scheduled order status to Paused.

Tips / Best Practices

  • Use scheduled orders for consumables you need regularly.

  • Review schedules after changing suppliers or consumables.

  • Make sure payment and frequency details are correct before saving.

Troubleshooting / Common Issues

  • Scheduled order paused: Check if the primary supplier was recently changed.

  • Cannot create scheduled order: Ensure all mandatory fields are completed.

  • Products unavailable: Confirm the supplier provides the selected items.
