How to Update NDIS / SAH Balance

Introduction

This article explains how participants can update their NDIS or SAH balance in the MyConsumables web app. Keeping your balance up to date helps ensure accurate budget tracking and reporting.

Before you start

  • Logged in as a Participant

  • Must have relaiable Internet connection

  • Updated NDIS or SAH balance details

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Log in to the MyConsumables web app as a Participant.

  2. From the Homepage locate the NDIS / SAH Details section.

  3. Click Update Balance.

  4. Enter your updated NDIS or SAH balance information.

  5. Review the details for accuracy.

  6. Click Save Changes to apply the update.

What Happens After Updating Your Balance

  • If you do not have a connected coordinator/provider, your updated NDIS / SAH balance will be applied immediately.

  • If you have a connected coordinator, your update will be submitted for approval.

    • The balance will only be updated once the coordinator approves the change.

After approval or immediate update:

  • Your updated balance will be reflected on the Homepage.

  • Budget tracking will automatically adjust based on the new balance.

  • Future orders and consumable tracking will use the updated balance.

Tips / Best Practices

  • Update your balance whenever there are changes to your funding.

  • Double-check figures before saving to avoid inaccuracies.

  • Keep supporting documents for your records if needed.

Troubleshooting / Common Issues

  • Changes not saving: Ensure all required fields are completed before saving.

  • Incorrect balance showing: Refresh the page or log out and log back in.

  • Cannot edit balance: Confirm you are logged in as a Participant.
