Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is my main role as a provider in MyConsumables?
Your main role is to support participants by helping them manage orders, scheduled orders, budgets, and important details. You can act on behalf of participants when needed.
2. Can I place orders for participants?
Yes. Providers can place orders and scheduled orders on behalf of participants once they are linked to your account.
3. Do I need approval when I update a participant’s balance?
No. When a provider updates a participant’s balance, the change is applied immediately and does not require approval.
4. Why do some participant updates require approval?
Approval is required only when participants initiate certain updates (such as balance changes). Provider-initiated updates apply immediately.
5. Why don’t I see a participant I was invited to manage?
Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, allow a few moments for the invitation acceptance to sync.
6. Why is a scheduled order paused?
Scheduled orders are automatically paused when a participant’s primary supplier changes. You can activate the scheduled order again when ready.
7. When should I mark an order as received?
Mark an order as Received once it has been delivered or collected and the participant has confirmed receipt.
8. Why can’t I cancel an order?
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have progressed beyond certain stages, such as when they are already delivered, collected, or received.
9. Will my actions reflect immediately for participants?
Yes. Most provider actions, such as updating balances, plans, or orders, reflect in real time in the participant portal.
10. Where should I start each day?
Start with the Dashboard to review alerts, pending approvals, low stock participants, and recent activity.
