Frequently Asked Questions
1. What does it mean to share a participant with another provider?
Sharing a participant allows multiple providers to view and manage the same participant. This includes managing orders, scheduled orders, and participant details, depending on permissions.
2. Who can invite another provider?
Only Providers or Coordinators with access to the participant can send provider invitations.
3. How many providers can manage one participant?
A participant can be shared with multiple providers, allowing collaborative management.
4. Do shared providers see the same data?
Yes. Shared providers see the same participant data, and updates reflect in real time across all connected providers.
5. What happens after I send a provider invitation?
The invitation appears in Sent Invitations. The invited provider must accept it before the participant is shared.
6. Why can’t I invite a provider?
Common reasons include:
-
The email does not belong to an existing provider
-
The email address was entered incorrectly
7. I accepted an invite—why don’t I see the participant yet?
Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, allow a few moments for data to sync.
8. Can I control which participants are shared?
Yes. When sending an invitation, you can select one or multiple participants to share.
9. Can I remove a shared participant from my side?
Yes. Each provider can remove the shared participant from their own participant list. This only removes access on your side and does not affect other connected providers.
10. Will shared providers receive notifications?
Yes. Shared providers may receive notifications related to the shared participant, such as order updates or alerts.
